Handles telephone inquiries regarding hiring.

Sets up interviews and orientations.

Conducts the orientations, involving key people from all depts. to participate.

Assures accurate completion of all hiring documents prior to employee servicing first Consumer.

Manages and assures security of the personnel files from hire to termination.

Notifies the office of changes to Consumer schedule (days or times)

Tracks all required monthly in-services, supervisions, evaluations, disciplinary actions and required employee health data.

Communicates effectively with Agency Director/scheduling departments when issues surface.

Advocates for employees to the degree possible for effective operation

Assists the Agency Director in preparing for audits or surveys.

Maintains personnel files and the HR department “survey ready” at all times.

Re-enforces HIPAA compliance with field staff and office personnel.

Actively encourages employee recognition program.

Other duties as assigned.

Participates in the QA Committee process as requested to do so.

Notifies the Agency of emergencies, sickness, and other imminent occurrences that may affect the Consumer caseload as quickly as possible relative to the event’s occurrence.

Submits written time requests 2 weeks or more in advance of planned time off.
